New Fic Idea

Happy New Year!



Sorry, no new chapter of Of a Broken Mind tonight. Too wiped out. Did a lot today. I want to get this fic finished by the end of this week. Written out, at the very least.

I do, however have an idea for two new fanfics. It came up when I was writing Of a Broken Mind.

In my fic, I brought up the idea of what Piper's life would be like if he wasn't the Pied Piper, if he never turned to the life of a super villain. Would he still be rebellious or a stuck-up rich kid? (I'd doubt that.) Would he be best friends with Wally?

I thought it might be interesting to do. What do you think?

Or, alternitavely, what what would the heroes and villains be doing if they lived in a world without super heroes/villains and, more importantly, super powers. I'd only thought about this in terms of the Flash and Rogues. What would they be doing? Would Wally have ever met and married Linda? Would Piper have his ear implants (or whatever they're called)? Would James still be in the circus?

What do you think? Any ideas?

(I'm thinking of starting this around Spring Break, or whenever I have the time. Maybe start them as one-shots and see how that goes.)

Still, if anyone has any ideas or any input, I'd like them. Maybe I should post these up on piper_trickster for help, but that can wait.

Yes, you should post them.

1) Piper is no superhero.
Well, if Hartley never became a supervillain...maybe Wally would have rescued him when some supervillain threatened Central City´s rich aristocracy. Things like that are bound to happen.
He would still be a rebellious kid; sneak out on nights, spray graffitis and still be a social rights activist.

2) No superpowers
I think that Piper would still have the implants, because being intelligent (Dr Magnus) is not a superpower.
He would still be a rebellious kid, but of course he would never turn into crime. I think he was "inspired" when he witnessed a bankrob (although I can´t remember who did the robbing).

I think that James would have left the circus anyway. (Of course not to become a supervillain). I can see him in a casino, making lots of money.
of have a toy imperium.
James would be the same I think. (just without spandex striped pants)

Also, for idea 1, would Piper be a musician/composer? I think so. Instead of sonics and hypnotism, he could have become a successful composer or musician. Which instrument(s)? I was thinking definitely flute, and maybe piano and/or clarinet. He loves music, that'd be pretty much universal. If he hadn't become a villain/hero, he'd have more time to practice and learn to play.

James would be the same I think. (just without spandex striped pants)
Maybe not spandex, but I'd think he'd still have the stripes. (Ooh, pinstripes!) Or something that has bright, clashing colors. It'd be weird if James didn't wear something that's yellow and blue.
