So A while ago I told
runenklinge that I’d write a post on my theories of Trickster’s behavior in Countdown. But, I really don’t feel like going throught the whole conspiracy and summarize it in three words:
Plot-Induced Stupidity
Happens all the time. Just look at Superman when a baddie gets the upper hand when said baddie shouldn’t. Just look at the Green Lanterns back when they that that yellow-impurity.
I’m tired right now. Finals are coming up fast and I have a lot of work to do. And I’m feeling really cynical about everything right now. If DC isn’t going to care, why should I?
Come Christmas time, I’ll feel better. I’ve got a Christmas-themed drawing planned for Trickster and Piper. I was thinking of having Tricks wearing one of those hats with the mistletoe attached to it, looking over at Piper suggestively. Piper will have a look of utter horror, or general WTF-look. Both will be un-handcuffed and in normal clothes. I know what Piper’s wearing, but I have no idea what Tricks should wear. Any ideas?

Re: Trickster fashion: ask Gambi
Date: 2007-12-03 12:33 am (UTC)Maybe jeans, a long-sleever shirt with stripes and over it a T-shirt (short sleeves) with some snappy catchphrase.
I've actually been thinking of using a variation of this. A guy friend of mine always wore these striped, long-sleeved, button-down shirts with a t-shirt underneath. And I've been leaning towards this more and more.
Oh, how about this:
Tricks wears jeans, a yellow & blue striped, button-down shirt with a t-shirt underneath. Snappy catchphrase on t-shirt, possible innuendo. Long coat draped over the back of the chair he's sitting on. Unnarturally long striped scarf (with as many bright colors I can find) still draped over his neck, but kinda pooling on the floor. And, of course, the mistletoe hat.
Howzat sound?
Or he wears a brightly yellow/orange sweater with some christmas motive on it.
I was thinking Piper would wear this, but in green. It'd be very tacky - a gift from Wally maybe.

Date: 2007-12-06 05:36 pm (UTC)As for the snappy catchphrase, I really don't know. I've got a couple ideas, but I'm not sure which to use. I'm gonna wait 'til I've drawn it out, see which fits best.

HA!
Many people wear a Superman pyjama.
Superman wears a Chuck Norris pyjama.
