I made 2 lists, one of DC/Vertigo/Wildstorm characters and one of AU settings.

For the characters, pick two numbers between 1 and 30.

For the AU settings, pick one number between 1 and 12.

Then I will tell you what characters & AU setting you have picked and what it would be like (or possibly write a snippet from it.)


I probably won't be able to reply 'til late tomorrow (Thursday). Lotsa stuff to do, so bear with me.

Tim Drake and Todd Rice in a Disney fairytale.

Tim is a dashing young prince, the youngest son of King Bruce Wayne. As the only son of King Bruce without a princess, Tim sets out on a journey to find the perfect princess for him. Todd is a being of shadow, son to the mage Sentinel. Todd is charged by King Bruce to protect Tim on his journey. There will be cheesy showstopping numbers, and musical moments that will make you laugh, cry, and a whole other number of emotions.

Michael Carter and Querl Dox in Victorian England. (I had so many ideas for this one.)

Querl Dox is a brilliant scientist and inventor, said to be the smartest person in the world despite his often crackpot theories and the occasional explosion coming from his laboratory. No one has actually seen Dox in person before except Michael Carter. Carter is the one who usually presents Dox's new theories or inventions like the perfect trained monkey he is. No one knows how he came into Dox's employ however, Carter is reported to be his bodyguard. Unknown to the public, both Dox and Carter are working together to build a time machine for unknown reasons.

Querl Dox in Victorian England immediately makes me think of Girl Genius, wherein he would be Fautus Heterodyne V :-P
